I've always been worried when it comes to politics. How is it so easy for every candidate to bash the other one? The answer may just be that no one is qualified! We're just given two options and told that one of them is right, then other people say "we don't care what you do, just vote." That distances the process even further.
I say, let's try a real bi-partisan kind of thing and just pick Obama and Palin!
I think McCain chose Palin too early as his VP candidate. All the hype is over. He should have waited for three weeks before the election.
I don't really know anything about politics. I don't have a clue if I'm registered or not, though I agree that everyone should register and that every vote truly does count! I just don't know enough about the candidates or care enough to waste my vote and void someone else's vote with it.
I had a guy in the mall come up and ask my friend and I to register to vote. I told him no very politely and that we just wanted to eat. Of course, the guy should have won the argument because I'm completely on his side! It's strange how some people make you want to go against your own beliefs just in spite of them.
The thing is, I'm a "democrat" because my great grandmother hated Bush Sr. I still remember sitting in her living room watching him on t.v. as she made fun of him!
