Christmas in July practice

This is the basis of the Christmas in July demonstration, for those of you who don't know. Have you ever stared at something and felt that you were controlling it? I've seen a book before about people that were able to control the movements of clouds with their thoughts. You were then, essentially, able to manipulate the weather by moving clouds into certain positions. I'm sure you've heard old tales of "rain men" that were able to make it rain when their crops were dying. I kept studying along this train of thought and found many other things that the human body is capable of doing.

When faced in a stressful situation, if you calm yourself you can slow down your heartbeat. This may not seem connected to controlling the weather, but for the purpose I'm looking at it is. If you tell yourself you're hot, you will eventually feel hotter, tell yourself you're cold and...

What I'm hoping to do, and what I've actually been accomplishing lately, is to make it become so cold in a given area that you can turn water into snow. It's possible that we could also turn rain into snow, that is the large effect I am shooting for.

Over this last week I've been performing strange effects like this that I didn't even think were possible a year ago. I've slapped my hands together to create water, I made a fist-full of snow appear at a movie theatre, and last nite I turned my entire glass of water into a solid piece of ice.

I'm hoping to take it a few steps further in the next two weeks. Wish me luck.
