My long distance girlfriend Jordan and I met up in Chicago for a weekend to see my family. We had a Halloween party on Saturday nite that saw me do some impromptu magic for a group of kids dressed as pirates. I also did a new trick on the spot that included someone's card vanishing from half the deck and ending up appearing face up on the other half of the deck held by someone else. At the end of the party I bent some silverware and stopped my pulse for a group of party goers.
I went to the original PotBelly's restaurant on N. Lincoln Ave, walking by the Oz park as well. They're supposed to be building a new Pot Belly place in Allen Park early next year, so I'm going to try to apply for a magic job there.
I bought Jordan a deck of Tarot cards and thumbed through a book about Nostradamus's predictions in a local Barnes and Noble.
